    Wood hanging the jab, not even really a feint, just making sure he has 100% ont he distance. Wood looking for the jab to the gut as his meaningful punch, Lara responds with the same punch ot the face. Lara looking. A little head movement. First minute belongs to Wood on the jab to the gut. First step on a long journey if he is to win. Lara tries an uppercut, it's glancing, not really a statement punch. So Wood looks so far like he's going to box conservatively to minimise punching chances for Lara early, and he wins the second minute fo the round with a good left hook as Lara seeks the body. Gorgeous right hand counter to the Lara jab and based upon the first round only, Lara has a few problems to sort out, Wood's strategy looks right. Lara lands a good right hand to the body in the last few seconds.

    Cagey opening two minutes, Wood jabbing to the body well, lands nasty counter left hook that shakes up Lara. Lara getting desperate already, lunging in late, missing with almost everything.
