Also an example of great corner work. Gill had told Coldwell he had no balance - because of the ear drums - and was instructed to use the corner and ropes to maintain balance and work from there...

You’re so upset you’re comparing the power of a known ko artist to Conlan. Think about that for a moment and see how much of a difference they are in that regard. I don’t even agree with the towel being thrown in but let’s be real. Lara’s punches were having a greater effect throughout. Wood was wobbly even as the towel was thrown in. There was plenty of time for another onslaught. I’d have loved to see it but it is what it is.

I think it's clearly obvious that Davison is in love with Wood and his haircut. A protector.

A professional assassin who couldn't even drop Wood once prior to then? Fury was facing a fighter who almost had a KO 100% and he rose from the dead and beat his ass

Kudos to Lara for that perfect left but this fight, leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Wood needs to can Davison. In my many years watching this sport I have never seen anything like this, a corner giving up on his man with 10 sec left in a round. Just boggles the mind.

No that is not true just bided his time and attacks. He basically set him up. Even when he was losing rounds his pockets of success were causing damage. This is why after 2 rounds I predicted Lara was going to get him out of there. That left hook was a thing of beauty. You have to admire that shot. He missed with it narrowly the previous round.

He’s only 24. He seems a nice guy outside the ring. Warrington is a dirty fighter don’t forget and could make anything up to ruin Lara’s night

That's world champion spit now. Warrington should bottle it and sell it on Ebay.

Having watched the end of the fight again, I'd advise Wood to cultivate that perm into a full Kentucky waterfall mullet. His head hit the canvas pretty hard. A mullet perm of the same density as that on top of his head would have cushioned the impact significantly.
