    Seems to be a (fairly minor) disagreement between those who think Conlan was schooling Wood and those who think Wood was working his way back into a close fight. I’m inclined towards the latter and felt that from about round 6 on Wood was doing plenty of good work and Conlan was tiring a bit.

    I didn't see the right hand but that would certainly be a better outcome than just passing out.

    If Warrington repeats his W over Kiko, he and Wood is a good fight. I suppose you'd have to say Wood-Kiko would be legitimate fare, too, if Kiko were to successfully defend that IBF.

    Wood and Lara has sensational firefight potential.

    Good view point. Right hand is clear there.

    If Wood's smart, he's a live dog in that fight. Lara punches extremely hard, but he has vulnerabilities and temperamental idiosyncrasies of his own.

    Anyway, summing up;

    If Wood never wins another world title fight, he earned the right to be remembered warmly for a long time with that one.

    Irish Gatti laid it all on the line, too, and went out on his shield like a true fighter.

    Great boxing match, kind you don't sleep after witnessing.

    I know I don't pay a lot ($3 per month to be precise) but this fight wasn't available for us in Australia???

    Does anyone have a sensible explanation why? It's not exactly Floyd vs. Manny.

    Still got to feel bad for anybody who didn't watch live and had the result spoiled.

    Correct sir. I think we witnessed boxing history tonight. The fight was just insane. Should be an all time classic in 15 years from now. Especially if you consider the English-Irish rivalry.
