    It’s weird isn’t it, that you can hate someone just by their face…btw I hate him by his face too! Whereas Wood I like cos his hair:)

    Wood by very clear decision. I rated Can Xu and Wood embarrassed him, and I don't see Conlan as anything more than "okay domestic guy."

    Nothing of interest before the main event, will only tune in around 10.00/10.30 pm.

    Genuine 50-50 in my view, hope Leigh gets the nod here I see it going 12 and being fairly close.

    Conlan is already 30 now and has been pro for 5 years. Yet despite being a decorated amateur who had a lot of hype when he turned over, Leigh Wood is actually a pretty substantial step up for him. Now maybe he can beat Wood, but either way, if he was the real deal then he would have done a lot more with his career by now. Always been underwhelmed from what I've seen of him.

    British and Irish 2016 Olympians like Conlan, Cordina, Buatsi etc still described as prospects despite being close to or above 30 whereas 2016 Olympians like Lopez and Stevenson have already won world titles and are in their early 20’s.

    Conlan was getting lit up by Ionut Baluta. I expect Wood to win a close fight on the cards.
