Someone will suffer a serious injury in the future and the lesson should be learned now after watching that horrific fall.

Boxers falling through the ropes unconscious and down onto the floor are one-in-a-million scenarios. He fell on top of a man which softened the fall considerably. I'd rather fall onto a person than a padded floor tbh

Surprised no one caught him. He was out of it in ring but Steve Gray could not get to him quick enough. Might be worth considering moving front rows back a couple of feet and having mats similar to those in soft plays around the outside of the ring.

Davison getting a bit of stick but as soon as he realised Conlan was in a bad way he was trying to calm the crowd down.

I'm reading comments on Twitter stating Conlan passed out, he wasn't knocked out lol.

Felt surprised watching it live that Steve Gray never stepped in before that final punch as Conlan looked out of it 2-3 secs before that punch.

Not seen a replay yet and will have to watch it again tomorrow but Gray's reactions did not appear to match the urgency required when a fighter is in serious trouble.

Well after a few seconds when he didn’t reappear it’s evident.

I've watched it back a few times, Wood didn't fire a barrage of unanswered shots when Conlan was on the ropes, Conlan was defending then Wood caught him on the sweet spot, it all happened in a very short space of time, I think if he didn't get that perfect punch, we would have seen three or four more punches then the ref would have stepped in.

First off, delighted to see head ok that was a scary moment.

I'm going out on a whim here.

He won't be back, have you seen a fighter regain any momentum after getting so brutally ko'd? I haven't

Fair points, but they where heavy, well, obviously Pacquiao wasn't.

But I wonder would Conlan be better dropping down a weight. Wood looked a weight class above him last night.

And I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Adam booths style does not suit non punchers. It's too defensive and requires fighters to keep their opponents off with single hard shots.

It worked for Groves, haye and Andy Lee, but it's a terrible style for feather fisted fighters

Tony Bellew surpassed himself last night in being stupid.

Before the 12th and last round, Tony Bellew had Conlan in front with 1 point. When he then hears the interview afterwards with Eddie Hearn where he says that Conlan was far ahead, Bellew changes his explanation.

Have your own opinion Tony Bellew ! The only one who did well on DAZN's team last night was Carl Froch + Lauren Wood.

By the way : What a fight !

He’s just desperate to be liked. Zero self awareness.

My favourite was when Algieri was weighing in against Tommy Coyle and Bellew was saying he’d struggle moving down in weight. Malignaggi pointed out he was a trained nutritionist and Bellew suddenly started saying how good he looked at the weight.
