You have to give this guy credit for taking on Golovkin when he could have milked his IBF belt for a few fights instead.
I don't think GGG will overlook Lemieux with big fights and huge paydays on the horizon. The winner of Cotto-Canelo is most likely next, or even a shot against Froch if nothing materializes at 160. GGG is in the hot seat right now and it looks very promising. But Lemieux might even hit harder than GGG. Beware!
Funny stuff. But Golovkin is a Kazak with Asian ancenstery. On the topic, Lemiuex has that type of power so he definitely has a puncher's chance. I haven't seen GGG hurt at all. He has been taking more punches lately, but that could be by design to entice the bigger name opponents. Or, he really is getting caught up in his own hype and is beginning to neglect the defense for offense, which would suit Lemiuex and his style. Either way, this should be a great fight. I am a fan of both fighters, so I'll be happy with any of them winning. GGG is the favorite though, and I pick him to keep the KO streak going and stopping Lemiuex by the middle rounds.
GGG is going to KO Lemiuex no latter then 4 rounds max, this is a super easy fight for GGG. Lemiuex is at very best a B- fighter and thats being real nice.
