I'm afraid my man David hasn't given 110% effort in the gym this time around either, by the looks of those 1-week-out weights.

If he doesn't look ripped in the ring next weekend, I'll lose quite a bit of respect for him.

How big a challenge is it for the average fighter to lose around 7 lbs in 7 days?

****. Stomach overrides brain, Anber once said the kid LOVED to eat.

Cool then. Must be my pessimistic mindset towards David's dedication.

7 pounds is fine, I'd assume most of that is water weight.

Lemieux is young and he's not that tall. He should be making MW easily at this stage of his career and should not walk around at over 175. What's he's going to do at 35 years old ? He can't fight over SMW with that reach/height. Being at 168 a week before a fight is not a big deal for most fighter, but I disagree in David's case.

If this is walking around weight then that's great news but if that's after a long workout then not so much....

Mark Ramsay , David new trainer said that David his working really hard in training and his very hungry , he compare him to Antonin Decarie who his one of the hardest worker in gym and the one with the best results too. David sparring with Pascal and Elender Alvarez , Ramsay say that they don't give each other an inch in the ring and there some epic battle in sparring. Lemieux say that his really happy with the change he made and he never had so much fun training.

David Last lost combine with the training camp with Sexy Sergio shown him that he need to work really hard to be a Champion and to keep a belt. He now know what it take to be on top and at 22 years old he got all the back-up and the talent to be a threat for a long time.

Lemieux have work on his muscular so he can be more fit and hit harder (if it's possible)

I just hope that his Stamina wont be put a side.

    Lemieux KO1

Lemieux made the mistake of believing his own hype when he fought Rubio - who he could have beaten fairly easily had he paced himself and continued to work the body. I don't think Lemieux has the mental strength to compete with elite in boxing. If he doesn't make 160 for this fight he's pretty much washed up, a clown.

Can't believe to this day how limited he looked vs. Rubio. As soon as he realized his "KTFO2" plan ain't gonna materialize he was done.

He didn't have anything left in the tank.

I think he has all the assets to go far and become a champion fairly soon. He is only 22!

The only thing that is concerning is his "mental toughness" :)yep, Les boys). His attitude and dedication might not be there.
