    I understand America is a huge country but it's still Wards home country, he was fighting in front of his fellow countrymen in all of his biggest fights.

    Well in my opinion other champions travelled, really went up against it, tested themselves and sometimes proved what a truly great champion they were.

    Ward wanted everything on his own terms, even down to the judges.

    I ask you this, if that first Kovalev fight was in Russia would Ward be unbeaten?

    Never mind Russia... if it was in any other country as the US, I doubt Ward would be unbeaten.

    Where do fighters, around the world, go to fight if they want to make a name for themselves? Let me give you a hint, it isn't Russia, China or even England! So an American fighting in the most boxer friendly country, fights in that country isn't as good? Lol But Clazaghe is a legend!

    Did they fight more than 8 times outside Europe? Because you can travel to 3 countries inside a 24 hour period in some areas of Europe. Fighing in England when you live in Wales isn't traveling too far from home if you know what I mean.

    You are correct of course. Kessler however, did travel to Australia when he's an undefeated champion to face the local fav in mundine.

    I think there was a tool on here that said Kovalev would have lost the fight against Ward in Russia as well. I wonder who that tool was?
