David weighed 175 fight night (5+ pounds heavier than GGG) and barely made 160 at the weigh in, and he had extra time to rehydrate and recooperate afterward because the weigh in was earlier than usual.

CW would definitely hurt him, just like it hurt Geale.

meh lemieux is a small guy, he probably wanted the extra bulk so his shots were heavier. he can make 156-157 no prob :good. of course you ggg lunatics will discredit cotto for destroying lemieux at 156-157 though right?

IMO david weighed in extra heavy so his punches would have a bigger impact on GGG. If he really tried to make 156-157 and rehydrated back to 170+ I dont think it would really be that detrimental. And as for Geale, let's be honest, Cotto weighed in at 153, and would have destroyed any version of Geale. Even geale at 168 would have gone down from that left hook. Cotto showed that GGG's win over Geale was really nothing special. Murray on the other hand would give Cotto fits though, I dont see Cotto stopping him.

If this doesn't happen, we can make one for Thurman vs Porter. Although I don't know if it's happening either.

Sure even bets on that though right? I'm far more sure of Cotto destroying Lemieux than Thurman beating Porter though I'm pretty positive on that one. Cotto/Lemieux is a HUGE mismatch imo.

Yeah even bets at all times. I'd go to a betting office if I wanted to make money. This is just for fun.

Cotto > Geale but that CW really sealed the deal before the bell rang. Geale was happy to collect his check though, I'm sure.

Ok. :good I'd just feel ****ed over if I bet 20 for 10 for porter/thurman because I know I can find someone that would do even bets.

I guess GEALED is another word for weight drained then beaten via illegal headbutt

That's where our opinions differ. Cotto has enough skill to make Lemieux miss all night and pay for it badly.

cotto will probably fight lemiux if he beats canelo.

cotto will keep proving mw is a weak divison

I'm not impressed with Lemieux at all but he would probably enter the ring as a LHW or CW so that'd be a problem. He's obviously nowhere near Cotto's skill level.

It sure would be noble of Cotto to keep weight draining GGG's leftovers while avoiding his actually mandatory challenger.
