Lemieux gets GEALED against Cotto

Honestly, I think Cotto would win. He proved himself to be quite a beast at MW with that Geale performance.

I mean one thing is that, stylistically, we saw how well Lemieux "deals" with a jab, and let's not forget Cotto's jab.

Deals with "Golovkin's" jab. Not just any jab. Golovkin has one of the best jabs in the sport and threw it consistently (5x the MW average). Cotto has a good jab too, but Cotto is much smaller than Lemieux and doesn't have the reach advantage. He isn't as good of a defender as GGG is either.

 

Yes, even considering all that, given how terrible he was against GGG, it doesn't give me any confidence he'd deal with Cotto's much better. Also, Cotto has a really good left hook which he uses constantly which GGG didn't use much against him and he's more of a mover as well, I don't see Lemieux doing well against that.

 

Cotto has a much better jab than GGG, DL goes down in 4.
