I said majority of people. So 1,150,000 people who bought the fight (so this isn't including ticket buyers and streamers) and you gave me a poll of about like 200 people, and I don't even know the demographic. Polls can be just as skewed as statistics, hell, just like compubox (I was being facetious when I used that as an example). That's why I go off by my eyes, and I had Pacquiao winning a very close fight. I get a lot of people felt it was controversial. Close fights tend to be controversial, but I don't see this as a clear-cut robbery. And why is this thread even talking about Pacquiao??? Why do we have to make everything about Mayweather or Pacquiao? My thread is about Golovkin and Lemieux for pete's sake.
I wasn't the one who brought up Mayweather/pacquiao. And the HBO poll wasn't 200 people you moron, stop trying to make me look less credible. Like I said I can bring up far more polls, just google boxingforum24, pac marquez 3 poll, and you'll see what I'm talking about. And jesus fking christ, I didnt mean literally everyone who watched it had Marquez winning because that wouldn't be possible, I'm saying the majority of people who voiced an opinion online for Marquez/Pac 3 had Marquez winning.
actually buffy I apologize, the original guy who made that thread was wrong, it wasn't viewers who made that vote it was experts, and writers. "HBO polled a group of boxing writers and experts after the fight: 46% saw Marquez winning, 42% saw it a draw and 12% saw Pacquiao winning." You probably think you deserve to be in that expert and boxing writer category though don't you .
How many times that has actually happened? The only time i saw it happen was when froch kod bute. I don't think it was that big of a deal
Lemieux is getting that Tim Bradley Jr. mentality. Give me your best shot! I love it! I expect to see some broken noses in October!
People are actually slagging this fight off. It's mental. He could fight Wlad and that probably wouldn't be enough for some people...
This is a good fight. Both guys have 30+ fights and both have power. However, I believe Gennady Golovkin will demonstrate why he's on another level. Credit to Lemieux for being a warrior and facing the man very few fighters want a piece of.
I'm pretty sure Lemieux from the N'dam fight would have no chance against GGG whatsoever, De La Hoya knows that and I think he's helping GGG to become a ppv star star so that GGG-Canelo can become a mega fight that'd sell millions. Or is the IBF belt is the step aside money to keep Golovkin away from Canelo? The other possibility is De La Hoya actually believes Lemieux can improve in three months.
