yeah, why fight a guy that could possibly beat you, a guy where you will be the under dog against? maybe he should cherry pick like your boyfriend fraud gayweather. amazing

Possibly? Lemineux is going to get his ass kicked.

Amazing how Mayweather managed to cherry pick his way to multiple legitimate title belts taken from defending champions during his career.

if he cant beat macklin, then he cant beat any of the champions, so might as well fight him and see what hes got.
    "what if I win?"

thats what risk takers say, not cherry pickers like floyd.

"legit title belts"? you mean like the weakest of 4-6 champs per divsion post 2001? delusional you gayweather fans are

look moron if you knew anything about boxing you know that after losing consecutively to the likes of Rubio and Alcine you ain't ready to step up vs a far better fighter in Macklin. Rubio and Alcine aren't even in Macklins league and he couldn't beat them and hasn't improved at all since those fights. Dude is only 23, he shouldn't be in a rush to get a title right now, he should be improving and gradually getting back to contender status which would be impossible getting whupped by Macklin or anyone that good. if they rush him there it's gonna ruin him to keep throwing him into fights he loses and isn't ready for. He needs to fight and beat a top 50 type guy then rematch Rubio or fight someone along that level such as Vera before considering the huge jump up to a legit top 10 MW who's arguably top 5. His 2 fights since his 2 losses have been vs cans that did nothing for his development. get a clue.

This would be a pretty damn good matchup, and a good oppurtunity by both fighters.

I am suprised to see so many writing DL off so easily against Mack....

I hope this fights get made, and I hope Mack can put a beatdown on D.L, but I think its a dangerous fight for him as well.

    Would be very exciting.

    youre the dumb ****.
rubio is a career 154 pound guy, who has been knocked out in 1 round by a guy that was not even a journeymen. if a 160 pound up and comer like David Lem cant beat him then he needs to hang em up. you guys are such ****ing pussies with your match making and bum fights...no wonder you love Wilder , you ******

Who was the stronger belt holder at 154 than Cotto?
Who was the stronger belt holder at 154 than DLH?
What about Mosley, who was p4p #3 when they fought?
Ricky Hatton who was #7 p4p when they fought?
    Jose Luis Castillo?
Who was higher ranked than Baldomir at Welterweight after the upset of Zab Judah?
Name the other 3 belt holders better than Ortiz when they fought?

Sad life of a delusional hater, probably a ******* as well. Do you hate on Jinkee for being too close to your man?

I agree with you, it's always the same ******s on here who like to think they're businessmen instead of boxing fans. The reality is, they're neither -- can't be too much of a successful businessman when you spend the majority of your day in General talking about The Money Team.

    :patsch

you're such an idiot!!! and you're proving my point, if he can't beat Rubio then how the **** is he going to beat Macklin at this stage? hilarious how he should hanhg'em up if he can't beat Rubio.....by that logic anyone that isn't a top 20 MW should just retire and there should only be 20 fighters per division cause if you're not able to be a contender you shouldn't fight according to your dumbass, yeah boxing doesn't need gatekeepers, journeymen and cans..... no wonder you're always posting bull****. not everyone needs to be champ tomorrow, especially when you're only 23 and coming off 2 losses to dudes that aren't half as good as Macklin....think of how many fighters would have never been **** if they were thrown to the dogs after never having beaten one good opponent? what don't you understand about not ready and having to gradually step up in opposition? If Lemieux was 30 it would be different but no need to ruin a young kid who MIGHT be able top improve and eventually fight at that level.....he might never be **** but he deserves to be allowed to develop and try. He hasn't improved one bit since his 2 losses cause he hasn't fought anyone decent. I'm not condoning fighting cans but fight someone decent at least before trying a legit top MW. Lemieux needs to fight and beat a Vera or Rubio before tackling a top 10 guy. You really think blowing out a Jaudiel Zepeda who is 12-5-1 is gonna prepare him for Macklin? You don't know ****.

I don't think any of his losses ruined his confidence. Styles make fights and fighting different styles helps you in the long run as long as it doesn't finish you. He still has good body language and looks confident so I don't think he needs too many soft touches. Knocking out lower ranked guys in the first round isn't going to teach him much, so he either needs to spar a lot! Or keep fighting experienced opposition.
