I saw a similar poll on boxrec and would like to see what the bigger audience thinks.

How would Lemieux fights against other top middleweights go ?

    - he beats all 3 of them
    - he beats 2 of them
    - he beats one of them
    - he loses to all of them

He probably beats all three of them but Lee and Quillin would have an equal chance at a KO over him as well.

He'd beat Cotto, Quillin. I don't think he'd beat Lee though.

Lee is quite chinny and Lemiuex hits waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder than Quillin and Peter almost KO'd Lee in the first round. So David could definitely take Andy out in the first round, the longer in goes to more I'd favor Andy.

Lemieux is a few inches shorter than Quillin and significantly shorter than Lee. Plus, Lee's a good boxer. I think it'd look similar to Postol/Matthysse with Lee keeping a wide distance and punishing David with the lead right hand as David struggles to get inside. But a David KO is always in the realm of possibility.

All have a good jab and can keep Lemieux at distance. Cotto is the most experienced and would probably give him a boxing lesson like Alcine did while the other 2 would drop bombs on him from long distance like Rubio.

That's a possibility but David had no trouble landing on Rubio at will for the first 6 rounds (Rubio's 6'1 despite the official height), and if he lands on Lee clean that may be all it takes. As far as the Postol-Matthysse comparison, its no quite as applicable, Postol fires off his jabs and hooks like a machine gun, Andy's hands aren't quite that quick and he'd have a harder time firing off enough shots to keep David at bay, but if David gets anywhere near that right hook he may be down for the count.

The fact that you think Cotto has the best chance of the three shows how little about the sport you really know, Cotto has no chance against GGG or Lee or Quillin or Lemieux.:-(

Lee's chin is pretty average. If he doesn't catch Lemieux in the first 3 rounds, he will be stopped.

Rubio's 6'1? Forreal? Golovkin is recorded at 5'10, and they both looked about the same height with Rubio slightly taller.

N'Dam was outboxing Lemieux the rounds he wasn't getting knocked down. Is it fair to say Lee is more dangerous than N'Dam?

I know N'Dam beat Lee in a close fight in the amateurs, but they've changed a lot since then.

Somebody must be lying about their height, here's Rubio next to Pavlik who was 6'2 I've often seen him listed at 6'3 as well. And he was every inch of 6'2 or 6'3.

I think GGG must be 5'11 because he's a bit taller than David who's listed at 5'10.

Lee is definitely more dangerous than N'Dam, but niot as fast or active.

I'm not disagreeing with you Lee has a good shot at stopping David its a 50/50 fight. But judging by Lee's chin problems I'd personally lean Lemieux a little,

N'Dam is better than Lee in a few departments. His problems are lack of power and soft chin. He does have outstanding recovery, but loses a lot of points due to those KDs.

Lee really is a mystery to most fans sometimes he looks amazing and boxes beautifully, sometimes he's completely off his game and looks horrible, sometimes he looks horrible and out of nowhere comes back with a brutal highlight reel KO, sometimes he's looking great and get stopped when you're least expecting it. He's a very frustrating fighter to be a fan of...but I've been a loyal Lee fan for a long time in spite of his erratic performances. Lee is a very easy guy to root for.
