Some dudes fought 20 times a year years ago...still made **** all difference if they're fighting trash. Quality over quantity. Naoya Inoue has less than 10 fights yet his resume trumps Golovkin's and many more fighters with double and triple the number of fights he has.

I wouldn't mind if Golovkin was 25/26...but the guy is nearly 34. Time is ticking. He's still on Edwin Valero type legacy atm in terms of Boxing achievements. I'd hate to see a guy who apparently has so much ability waste away the last year or so of his best days fighting subpar opposition. If he wants to go down as a guy who'll be remembered in five/ten years, he's gonna have to order big fights and forget this bull**** of preserving his KO streak.

The overboard micromanaging and outright angst that Golovkin elicits is amazing. They begrudge him any success and want nothing more for him to go away. It is like some good ol' boys club that will never let him be a member.

 

I clearly already addressed the points at hand if you go back and read the thread. Perhaps it was out of line, but I wanted to extend a caring hand and display my concern for your unfortunate condition. If that was too personal I sincerely apologize.

 

No you inputted almost a copy and paste type reply basically implying "Lemieux is great, when Golovkin knocks him out us stans have permission to post infinite threads saying Golovkin>Hagler" even though the blunt facts state the complete opposite. Lemieux is a terrible opponent for a title defence. The fact he has a belt.himself and this is a unification bout is alarming.
