What a brutal fight this would be. Lemieux looks to be the more explosive puncher, more head movement and GGG the more calculated heavy handed guy.

GGG is a class above but Lemieux would still be the best fighter he's faced IMO, despite his losses. Would be a great match for either guy, has the promoters looked into this in the past?

they may be on a collision course but should wait until Lemieux is built up more.

Lemieux vs Canelo would be a very entertaining fight too, similar style but again Lemieux the more dynamic explosive guy. One of my fav fighters to watch atm, all his fights are very entertaining.

They are moving Lemieux quite slow, I remember the hype 4 years ago, I guess he got derailed by Rubio.

Lemieux could upset GGG, but highly doubtful, he has a chance early.
The Rubio stoppage came from a unintentional rabbit punch behind his left ear, messed his equilibrium up, I'm willing to forgive that and not consider it too indicative of how good his chin is.

Lemieux is a 4 round fighter. He looks dangerous for the first few rounds, but once he gets pushed back, he mentally breaks down, then he physically breaks down.

GGG is too smart to get caught against the likes of Lemieux. He'll box for the first few rounds and then break him in round 4.

Tell me you watched the Torres & Upshaw fights. Tell me that with a straight face. :?

Ramsay paced Lemieux. Ramsay learned how to not make Pascal gas so much, he applied the concept to David's style after he took over from Anber.

Lemieux will never blow his load and swing for the fences from round 1 to (4, 5) again. He knows better now, there's evidence of that on YT if you didn't watch those fights yet.

All of that said, Lemieux is gunning for Quillin (plenty documented on QC media) and Lemieux would get slaughtered in 2-3 rounds by Golovkin if they fought. The gap in sheer boxing skill is huge.

As a fan of him, I would prefer that Lemieux knocks out Quillin then being koed by GGG.

While both have power GGG has a chin.

    Lemieux has none.

Quite obvious how this ends. :deal

Lemieux has the best chance of beating GGG @ 160.

no money in that one...yet....maybe in a year or so if Lemieux keeps up the rampage of late. Right now Lemieux should be fighting - NY-Montreal connection would be very entertaining for the East Coast.

I think the Quillin option is a far better one for Lemieux indeed, but Quillin (and/or his management) doesn't like fighting dangerous guys so that probably won't happen.

Lemieux is an improved fighter, and a devastating puncher no doubt. But GGG is in a different league. David has no chance here.
