Lemieux has ironed out a few things with his style, but people need to be careful about going all in on the guy. that happened before he even lost a fight and look what happened, and to whom.

i give David a chance in a fight with Quillin, but Quillin would still be the favorite for me.

it is a fight that has a good chance of happening, and a very good regional match-up; Quebec-NYC.

Lemiuex has great power, but his stamina is highly suspect. He would have to catch Quillin before the 5th.

Quillin is ****. I think Lemieux has an excellent chance of stopping him.

All quillen needs to do is land one shot on that suspect chin of Lemeiux and it's OVER!

Peter Quillen is very overrated Guerrero wobbled him a few times in their match it went to the 7th granted Quillen dropped him 4 times but nowhere as hard as Lemieux did.

Quillen struggled with an old partially retired Winky Wright.
He struggled with old Konecny who Dzinziruk totally dominated.
N'dam came close to a draw even with 4 KD's.
Rosado scorecards were ridiculous and the stoppage was BS.

Lemieux has gotten alot better granted Guerrero isn't much, but he was destroyed last night.

Martinez and Golovkin's compared stoppages of Macklin is similar to Quillen and Lemieux's.

I don't rate Quillin at all as a world level fighter but seen as Lemieux hasn't been tested at that level since he was 22 I would be surprised if he was the favourite against quillin. I think Lemieux has got a lot of potential. Unlike what many here think he actually does have very good defense (especially on the inside). Just watch the way he is able to keep himself in defensively sound positions while throwing punches and afterwards. He's a master at punching with his opponent. There is no wasted movement. He keeps his chin tucked and his punches short at all times. Very impressive stuff. Defensively his biggest weakness is that on occasion he'll pull straight back out of the pocket. Not going to lie that is a bit of an issues. But for a pressure fighter the guy generally protects him well. The other bull**** thing is that his chin is bad. He's got a pretty solid chin. His only really problem in the rubio fight was that he was totally ****ing gassed when rubio stated teeing off on him. He can take a decent shot.

Offensively he says that he's gotten better at pacing himself but to he frank it didn't look that way againt Guerrero. His offense also needs to be a little more educated. Sometimes it seems like his plan A, B, and C are bash the **** out of a guy until he drops his guard. He needs to get better at riding his opponents shots and getting himself opportunities to counter punch and throw punches with his opponents. Provognikov is a master of this. He should watch some tapes.

I don't think Quillin is all that but he would whoop Lemieux.

I think Lemieux would knock Quillin out. Quillin would not fight Golovkin, easy knockout for Golovkin............

Glad you are reminding people just how limited Quillin has been. This gets overlooked. As you say he has had a lot of trouble with several opponents. He is a disaster waiting to happen.

Quillin-Lemieux would be great for a Mayweather undercard.
