Lemieux had power which gave him swagger. Once he got sat down, his swagger evaporated. Power alone won't beat GGG in Lemieuxs case.

Lemieux gets stopped and buckles badly under the relentless pressure.

Lemieux absolutely didn't sound like he wants GGG right after Rosado. He almost sounded like many others "I want CPG when I am ready".

That'd be a hell of a year for Gennady if he pulls that off.

If Golovkin wins vs Murray and the Cotto-Alvarez winner doesn't want to fight why not. But Lemieux has to win in impressive style.

If golden boy wanted to DESTROY floyds may 2nd date it would be smart and do this...

    May 2nd
    Cotto vs Canelo
    -
    GGG vs Kirkland
    Lemuix vs Taylor

^you're telling me you would watch Khan vs Mayweather over a card like that? Not to mention, the winner of the main event (since they will probably only fight twice a year anyway) can fight the winner of GGG vs Lemuix (providing they both win) and in the process will make a unified middleweight champion (as I dont ever see floyd going up).

GGG's defense is leaky to say the least. Lemieux could be able to make GGG fight in his back foot. Although, GGG jab is not bad and that would counter any plan of Lemieux to step inside. But again, GGG defense has hole and Lemieux has dynamite in his fist.

    Rosado will beat down Lemming.

I have no idea why they chose to fight Rosado of all people

GGG doesn't need to fight a can like Lemming

People are underestimating Rosado. Sounds like an upset!

Really? By my count in this thread, that's 3 who think Lemieux wins and 7 who think Rosado takes it. Your post must be directed at those 3 guys.

I'm very confident that Golovkin can take punches better than Lemieux can. But, I'd still like to see it.

I guess a Golovkin-Lemieux fight would be pretty entertaining but Golovkin would be a huge favorite.

I think Lemieux beats Rosado but thats a nice match up. I'd prefer to see Lemieux face guys like Kirkland(if he ever fights again), Stevens, Rubio rematch, or even Quillen. Those are good fights as well and much more competitive.

Lands higher than anyone else in the sport and it's heavy as ****. I'd say it's better than just "not bad."
