Alvarez didn’t return to his corner after the bell but instead tried to shake out his right leg, which immediately stiffened on impact of Golovkin‘s hook.

The fight will never happen. There's no way Hoya is putting Canelo in with Lemieux.

Canelo can't box, and he's easy to hit. That's the wrong kind of fighter to put in with Lemieux.

Stevens had never been stopped via KO until Lemieux stopped him. And Stevens has fought at 168 pounds before.

Putting Canelo in with a guy who hits as hard as Lemieux is a death wish for Canelo.

Everybody has opinions but I don't see how Lemiuex beats Canelo outside of a punchers chance, Alvarez has become severely underrated in recent times Leimuex isn't faster, doesn't have better defense, and isn't as good a boxer. People are saying Canelo hasn't beaten a top MW yet well neither has Lemiuex, Canelo while stationary at times has some of the best head movement in the sport in the pocket and mid range, DL gets lit up something serious.
The crazy thing is Alvarez beating Khan and Smith last year is better than Lemuiex beating Rios and Tapia, likewise Chavez Jr at 64 is a better and tougher opponent than Stevens yet Lemiuex is this monstar?? I don't get it

 

Looks very believable as it gives both guys merit but with re to Canelo who we've seen many times since then his minus points are exactly what we know such as always planting his feet,getting hit with a jab whilst not having much of one himself also to be fair its what you'd expect anyway with a young Canelo against the grizzled veteran?

Rubio is no less than B+ level having only lost to the best fighters in his division and beating several of the top fighters in said divsion.

As for the Lemmy fight......Lemiuex was 22, Rubio brought in as a sacrificial lamb being thought shopworn and aging.

Lemmy didnt pace himself and gassed when he couldnt hurt the cagey veteran former Champ.
