Been saying it for years. Vitali Klitschko and Floyd Mayweather are the only two unbeatable fighters in the World. Nobody can beat either of them. Both have skills and Iron Chins.

 

Lennox was known to prepare and fight at the level of his opponent, Lennox was getting ready for Kirk Johnson (I live about 20 miles from where Kirk is from so I do not feel bad about saying this) who was not a real threat . . . Kirk had some skills but was not ready for that level. Besides Lennox was ready to call it a day before that fight . . . he was unmotivated about fighting in general. Before the fight no one consider Big V a threat (lewis included) so he had no problem to take him on. Besides he made his fortune could walk off into the sunset and not turn out like Ali.

This is in total contrast to the mindset Big V had going into the fight. First He was getting ready to fight "the man" which raises your motivation level higher. Plus, he also had something to prove after quitting to Byrd. Even before he got the fight the lewis he was still on the undercard and knew it was his chance to shine and show he was the next big thing.

Going into the fight lennox was looking to get out . . . and VK was looking how to get on top. two totally different mindsets.

VK had his shot and LL was ripe for the picking, he failed . . . end of chapter. The loss turned out great for Big V because it raised his profile and made him lots of fans.

 

I think manny has a chance to beat floyd and today Haye could UD vitali. 4 yaers ago Vitali would have KO Haye.

 

Haye UD Vitali Klitschko? :roflatsch He doesn't throw enough punches. Haye would lose 120-108 on all scorecards. Haye couldn't even beat Wlad he isn't going to beat Vitali. The fight would be a lopsided joke.

what a pile of shite...vitali was training for the man..yea a whole 11 days..how danunting was it for him..green going into a fight with the undisputed champion and atg lennox lewis with 11 days notice..youv kind of basicly agreed with the so called klit fan boys..lewis wasnt intrested and if he had chosen to fight vitali and givin him a 3 month camp instead of 11 days he would have got ass whopped...im a lewis fan and im glad he retired when he did so i didnt have to watch him get his ass handed to him

 

Man, it seems people can't go beyond their primitive fan loyalties. I'll say up front that I'm a Lewis fan, but I'll admit that Lennox seemed nervous after the fight, that he was very fortunate to have cut Vitali, and that he should've fought him again.

But he still won the fight. And it was way more convinging than Chris Byrd's victory, wasn't it? It wasn't a robbery. But I do think that Lewis had been preparing for retirement for quite some time, wasn't really expecting such a struggle, and was taken by surprise. I think he would've won the rematch too, BUT I would not have been surprised if Vitali won.

Vitali is no joke. I think he's formidable as hell and right now I can't see anyone beating him. And I do think he's heading to the ATG lists and the HOF, no sweat.

Try out fairness and balance guys; it's not that hard.

 

you might be a LL fan but you are a bigger Big V fan.

Big V was on the undercard and was going to be compared to LL so he was motivated even before the change. Both Guys took it on short notice because you just cannot cancel a card like that and start it up again in 3 months.

Big V was not "Green" he fought in the big show and quit like a ****.

Like I said regardless of who was in the ring LL was ripe for the picking . . . Big V had his shot and failed

 

Doesn't punch as hard? I don't know man. That shot he tagged Adamek with in the second was a ****ing missile. And he cracked Briggs with some VERY sharp looking rights.

 

im not a huge fan of big vit..im more of a fan of wlad..i also like klit..my list of heavys goes..lewis,wlad,holyfield,vitali tyson..(modern era ofcourse)..big vit was green.who had he fought that was anywer near the level of ll...and i cannot believe that taking a fight against an atg in just 11 days is being compared to taking a fight against an unknown in just 11 days notice..lewis had the experiance and the training to deal with something like that..vitali did not..and considering lennox team was the one promoting the fight vitali needed a ko to win so he was never going to win that fight..think before you speak you hater...give people props when they deserve it...theres no need for hate on the men..unless ofcourse
