    As part of the contract, Rahman HAD to give Lewis an immediate rematch if he won.

    When he won, he signed a contract with Don King, and tried everything possible to NOT give Lewis a rematch.

    Lewis had to go to court to enforce the contract to get his rematch.


    I don't think Vitaly had a rematch clause in the contract did he? Most challengers that lose unluckily are just that. Unlucky losers. How many champions give a challenger that did well a rematch?

    **** all mate.

    Holmes won his title with a SD (not a TKO) over Norton. Did he give him a rematch? Did he balls.
    He won another SD over Tim Witherspoon who gave him hell. Did Witherspoon get another shot? Of course not.

    Unlucky losers generally don't get 2 bites of the cherry.
