    hahaha owned

67 ali outboxes Lewis to a decision. it's a tough battle, but in a contest of outboxing Ali loses to nobody on the HW level. Holmes, not Lewis, Johnson, Tunney, Walcott all lose to him. Too fast, hands and feet. Too good and accurate of a 1-2. incredible chin.

So many things wrong with your post I don't know where to start. First off, fighters are definitely bigger and stronger now, but that certainly doesn't make them faster. Ali was much, much, much faster than Lennox Lewis. THere's no comparison. Also, the reason that Lewis never lost to a great boxer is because he never faced one. Not to mention the fact that the Lewis Jab is probably the single most overrated jab in history. Rewatch the Lewis vs. Mercer fight. Lewis was in his prime, Mercer was past it. Yet a 6 1 inch Mercer was able to outjab Lewis all night long. Ali would cream him if it became a battle of the jabs. The only chance Lewis would have is a big right hand, that's it.

re-watch Ali v Williams fight and watch how many times the small and slow Williams lands his jab on Ali in his prime

I've seen the fight and he didn't outjab Ali. Nice try, though. Mercer clearly outjabbed Lewis in their fight .

Oh, so just because Ali had trouble with some fighters in some of the toughest era of HW fights he is overrated? Or would lose to Lewis? When did Lewis ever beat the level of fighters that Ali did? When did he ever fight a truly great fighter in their prime? I can't actually believe there are people saying Ali would get outboxed by Lewis. He's gonna get outboxed by a guy with the fastest left in hw history? the fastest feet?

    "haha owned"

Where am I owned? I wasn't even praising Lennox but quenching all of this Ali's **** riding. The smoke of nostalgia is burning your eyes out. Ali is just not that good. I don't feel like elaborating, I don't even know where to start from.

In this match up it's pretty much a pick'em fight to me, I'd slightly favour Lewis.

How can it be considered **** riding? How can Ali be "not that good"? There is absolutely no argument for Ali being overrated. He has the most complete resume of any heavyweight fighter, period. You can't accuse me of "nostalgia" as an argument. Don't get me wrong, I don't even like Ali as a personality or otherwise, it's just that there is no comparison between him or Lewis as boxers, from a perspective of opposition. Elaborate, otherwise you have no argument.

You got owned because you used Ali being dazed in a fight(which believe it or not, happens to every champion ever in the history of over) as an argument against him in this H2H matchup. The point is that Ali stood through it to win and dominate.

It's simple from my perspective....Ali was a great boxer in a greater boxing era. Lennox Lewis was a very good boxer in a very good boxing era. That's it.

I saw that fight a few times and He still won the fight even if it was a tough one.Even Muhammad ali had tough fights in his prime.lewis controlled a lot of good boxers with his jab.I think Lewis would give any version of Ali a lot of trouble because hes got a lot of skill.Im not saying Lewis would beat ali but he would definetly give him a very tough fight

Ali would soundly outbox LL. LL was a boxer first a fighter second. He'd have no answer for Ali's footwork punch variety or speed. Remember what Holy did to LL in their second fight? Imagine that but 100 times more violent.
