Imo, Lewis would beat the ass off Wilder.

Unless Wilder wants to start fighting the other top dogs and starts beating them brilliantly. Only then could I begin to reconsider.

Lewis is a top 5 heavy in my book and you think that right now Wilder could beat Lennox? I'd wait until Wilder is retired.

I'm starting to remember why I stopped coming to this forum. Wilder hasn't been in one tough fight yet in his career. We've got no idea what's gonna happen the first time he fights someone that doesn't fall apart the first time he lands. The idea of him matched against Lennox is riddickulous.

Wilder would have zero chance against Lewis, zero! Wilder has already made 5 voluntary title defenses in a row, a record! Everyone knows why Wilder refused to fight anyone who can fight back..............

Well that was a past prime Lewis, but who still took some huge shots from Vitali, and still busted Vitali up.
I think even that version of Lewis would demolish Wilder.
The problem with Wilder is that basically he can't fight.

I'd pick Lewis by 1st or 2nd round stoppage, in an absolute mismatch.

Lewis by decapitation. He would get Wilder going backward because he was accurate with his punches. If Wilder tried to hold he would be eating uppercuts that would snap him to bits. Wilder has power and good speed on his right hand but the proven fighter with massive power and several fight ending punches and a better jab wins no contest.

Lewis would use his superior strength and mug Wilder on the inside with his patented use of holding and hitting. He'd have to to be mindful of Wilder's straight right hand though, as flawed as he is that punch is a difference maker.
