Lewis wasn't elusive like Fury. Fury is one of the most elusive boxers of all time if not the most and he almost died. I got Wilder by KO.
Lennox had one glaring fault & it cost him the chance of doing a ROCKY !! HE LOST FOCUS EASILY. NEITHER McCall nor Rachman were supposed to be a threat. THEY GOT LUCKY lennox made them pay in the rematches
Wilder's booyakasha right hand versus Lewis' spine-stretching uppercuts? Interesting, because either punch can level the other man - but since Lewis is the overall better fighter my dosh is on him 9x/10.
Unfocused Lewis...it’s possible Wilder could catch him. Focused Lewis...Wilder doesn’t have a prayer. Complete shutout before a late rounds ko.
Uppercuts won't really enter into it here. Wilder would get rocked to his boots by a Lewis jab and spazz out when hit by a Lewis right hand. Both shots would come early in the fight.
That may be an average Wilder weight, though he was 212.5 last time. And he is listed as 6' 7", so that is the very tallest he may be. Lewis was never listed above 6' 5". Though when he bulked up & before overweight, he at least approached 250.
Wilders best chance would be hit and run........... With a Cadillac when Lewis was arriving at the venue.
Fat Lewis beat an apex version of Vitali Klitschko. Look at the momentum of the fight; Vitali's face was getting worse. It was only a matter of time before Lewis caught him with a punch he couldn't see coming and done even more damage. If that didn't happen, Lewis would have just clinched, headbutted or rubbed those dreadlocks into Vitali's cut and made it worse. I trade stock for a living and the only thing that matters is MOMENTUM. Forget what happened before, look at what is happening NOW.
Lewis wasn't fat at all, just slightly overweight. But yes, he was past his prime just like Holyfield was against him in the same age (37)
