I played this one with the Data Boxing game...fun fight. Lewis came out fast and worked Wilder over early to wear him down and keep the big hand to a minimum. Big round for Lennox in the 7th set-up the TKO in the 8. Wilder got up and received an 8 count but the ref would not let it go on. Lewis TKO 8.
Two borderline hall of famers going at it! Both with shaky mandibles, 1 shot could change everything.
What is this Lewis was fat rubbish? The guy still had an outline of his abs showing. Fat is what Tyson Fury, Miller, Ortiz and even Povetkin and Parker are. Lewis had the physique of a Greek god compared to these guys.
Wilder has a 10% chance of winning, the same as any puncher does against Lewis; particularly if he hasn't trained and isn't motivated. My sense though, with Wilder's mouth, is that you get a truly motivated Lennox a la Rahman 2, who breaks Wilder down within the first few rounds and brutally KO's him midway through the fight.
Lewis would catch himself a case if he hit wilder wit da 2piece he hit baba rahman wit. Would take dat tiny head str8 off dat pencil neck, cuzZz.
I love Wilder but LL would have the ring taped off with yellow police tape and inside the ring would be a crime scene mess with Wilder face down on the canvas and LL in cuffs.
Lewis by 2nd round KO. Prime Lewis, who is not 50 years old, would probably blast him out in the first couple of seconds.
If Wilder got buzzed by feather fisted Fury, what the hell do you think happens when Lewis gets his paws on him?
This is truly a bad think piece. The absolute worst version of Lennox (which was actually Lewis/Rahman I) would dispatch Wilder. Rahman at least had an excellent jab and was physically strong, to go along with that right hand, Wilder has nothing but a winging right hand. He's clumsy, has no defense to speak of, and would be asked to contend with one of the top 5 jabs , 1-2's, and uppercuts in HW history. Also, how many winging wild right hands has Lennox been able to avoid, absorb or just take out of the equation from other fighters in his career........ Wilder does not have a good right hand at all. Powerful, yes. An educated right hand? No. /thread
