First of all, Wladimir Klitschko suffered a 2 inch tear in his abdomin. He had to cancel the fight with Chisora, the first time either Klitschko ever cancelled a fight.

Secondly, Wladimir was not playing golf. He was being filmed for a documentary on his life & he had to pose with the golf clubs at the golf course.

And the very long list of fighters better than McCall and Rahman have an infinitely higher chance of landing what you call a "lucky punch" in these fantasy time machine match ups.

The reality: The klitschko brothers didn't beat an ATG.
Lennox Lewis didn't beat a prime ATG.
    Keep dreaming !:hi:

Dumb ass...heavyweights and smaller weights are completely different. Floyd Paterson was 180 pounds when he was heavyweight champ. Paterson MIGHT NOT even beat Roy Jones Jr, forget a real heavyweight.

    Golden Age Thinking Fallacy

Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko brothers may not beat everybody 100% of the time but I think there would be a solid trend for them to be victorious.

You also have to keep in mind a lot of ATGs typically fought opponents who were less than Brian Minto. Sure, they occasionally had their "super fights" but their great opponents made themselves awesome by fighting limited competition as well.

One could make a solid argument that the current crop of heavyweights are inside the top 3 eras ever.

Ibeabuchi is another one of boxings golden myths.

Fair play he went toe to toe with another overrated fighter in a FOTY candidate in Tua. That was an exciting fight.

And he beat Chris Byrd, a fighter who is severely underrated on this forum.

Other than that he fought BUMS! Yes that's right flat out bums who wouldn't even be Wlads sparring partners.

Yes Ibeabuchi was a great upcoming talent but to claim he was some unstoppable beast is *******s. Anyone can look unstoppable when you're fighting guys who have as many losses as they do wins.

And f.u.c.k off with lucky punches.

    :thumbsup

Fukking hate LL, but his greatness is undeniable.

He'd mop the floor with Ali, Louis, Marciano.

I don't know how guys like Frazier, Schmelling, Dempsey and Johnson even get into the convo anymore.

It'd be like saying prime BHOP would beat Ibeabuchi 10/10 times. :rofl
