Nah, they announced it today to make people THINK it was a hoax.

 

It's nice to think that if Lewis were to lose he'd still remain with that outstanding achievement of beating every fighter he faced.

It looks real to me. Vitali recently said (paraphrasing) that his career dream fight was within reach and he didn't want to make an announcement at that time. This was a couple of months back. I smell a mega historic fight. I believe it. Think it is a mistake, but I believe it is going to happen. Lennox is supposedly guaranteed 125 million with possible earnings of 165 million if a second fight (presumably against Wladimir to unify) occurs.

 

It is a lot of money and would be a career high payday for everyone involved, but 9 years out of the ring? I think it would be an error. I can only see this happening if Lennox is skint and needs the dough.

Lennox threw everything and even his mum at vitaly and he was still getting his arse hammered. Ten years later he would be stopped in under a minute in rd 1. He should have done it years ago he wouldnt have won but at least he would go out as a warrior. He just knew he could never repeat that cut so he had to step down and let the stronger lion take the crown. It was the biggest surrender in boxing history and every fan knows what happened and tko 6 really only looks good on paper and something for the sac swingers to repeat to make them feel better we all know what happened.

 

The fight was even last time imo. Commentators were biased as ****. Anyway I believe that this is legit, I think $125 million is a lot and Lennox can see Vitali's on the slide. Is there any conformation? I believe that it's no longer April fools day.

You can also tell that it really eats at Lennox, as it should. That's the reason that he tries to make light of what really happened because he realizes that every fan of the sport knows exactly how it went down.

I'm sure Lennox OK'd it. He probably suggested it himself. None of his handlers with his best interests in mind could possibly suggest it as a good idea. He's embarrassing himself constantly lately and needs to just stop talking.
