how long did he have man??3 weeks total?...he cannot be judged on that..infact i think it was stupid to even ask him in for such a small amount of time..whats the point of training most of your training camp one way then getting someone in to start with something new???

To quote my old buddy Randall Tex Cobb when discussing trainers. Tex said " Trainers can tell you how to fight but when the bell rings they go down the steps out of the ring. Its your ass & yours alone on the line in that ring"

LL is an ATG, but he doesn't seem to have the eye for picking up talents, remember when he picked Audley to be the next HW champion?

He's got a lot of knowledge to pass on but let's face it even the best can only do so much with Price.

He wanted Price for 8 weeks, he got 3.

In an 8 week camp Price would be a better and very different prospect.

He was a publicity stunt to raise hope in Price and interest in the fight.

You saw him there in a business suit, not helping in the corner.

Price did not gas, his punch output was extremely low. He did get hit about 50 times before turning his back.

Price was clearly gassed going into rd3. His stamina looked awful. It goes to show u that physique does not = stamina.

    EG Chris Arreola.

IMO Lennox will never turn into a good trainer.

    Way too early to tell.

From what little I have seen Lewis was trying to teach him the right things but Price simply did not execute them during the fight. When Price was training with Lewis, Lennox reprimanded Price for tucking up while on the ropes as a defensive move which Price did in the fight with disastrous results. Price cannot simply stand there tucked up behind his guard allowing opponents to tee off on him. He has to learn how to clinch or to slip shots and then counter so he can prevent his opponent dictating the fight.

Lewis really needs more time with Price to get rid of all his bad habits. Price is very good offensively as we saw in the 2nd round, he hits hard, has size and variety of shots. But this is all he has. No jab, can't box on the back foot, doesn't know how to clinch, poor upper body movement and a laughable defense. He also wastes a ton of energy like Wlad used to do. He jumps around on his toes for no reason, has that horrible twitchy guard defense where he is always moving his hands which is so simple to read and time and opening to land your shots.

He did gas which is shocking because he did throw so few punches. But much like young Wlad he wastes a ton of energy with pointless movements. How many times did he bounce around on the spot, how many times did he just run around the ring, he has that horrible habit of constantly moving his hands, like that is going to fool any decent fighter who will predict the pattern of his hand movements and then slip in a shot every time he drops his hands.

All these things waste energy and Price wasted a ton of energy with all these bad habits. Combine that with him being so huge and stamina may always be an issue for him if he can't learn to clinch, spoil and box off the back foot so he can take a breather now and again.
