:deal Golota did have a good chin true, but Tua and Mavrovic's were of the tungsten variety. And yeah i agree Golota at his best was a better fighter than both. I'm not saying Lewis would've KO'ed Tua and Mavrovic, because he caught them both with absolute peaches which had little effect when he fought them. But Lewis did'nt have the bit between his teeth for them fights in the same way he did when he fought Andrew. Maybe Lewis was annoyed or felt slightly threatened by the fact Golota was favourite to beat him, he also had a lot to prove to his critics in the fight with Golota, and let's not forget Lewis will have seen what Andrew done to Bowe. Whatever way you look at it, a lot of men would not have come out of that first round with Lennox in that mood. One more thing i think is worth bringing up that people may forget about, is Mavrovic got a debilatating illness which ended his career not long after losing his '0' to Lewis. Otherwise i think he would have been around the top ten for a few more years.
WTF are you doing here? No mention of any of the Klits here. Isn't there another VK excuse for a thread to drape your balls over?
You are right. I go to boxing training after work rather than waste my time being a **** trolling ATG's. Not hard to see who is well ahead.
Golota retired Bowe and left him with permanent brain damage. Golota ruined Corey Sanders in a blood bath and left him blind in one eye. Golota exposed Michael Grant in a fight that could have been stopped in Round 1. Golota defeated Chris Byrd and John Ruiz, and this was after a car accident that left Golota with a serious left shoulder injury. As a result Golota lost his awesome jab.
Too bad the Grant fight was the last time we saw it. Then he gives the fight away. atsch Like Foreman said ringside, "you don't ask a man if he wants to continue after he's been knocked down". IMO "Proud" Golota took a flurry of punches when all he he to do was hold (like Lennox and Wlad) or take a knee, like Arreola... clear his head and walk down to victory. atsch And he got up on one. Golota never stays down and never rolls over.
I was very surprise at how he won since golota was coming off 2 impressive fights with bowe which he was winning but the low blow cause him the fight. I was very impress at how he dominated golota in that fight. I really thought golota could win that fight but I still like the tyson fight as his best. I know tyson was past his prime but he could still fight. To me that was lewis at his best. He kept tyson away with his jab and frustrated him. Tyson look like he could still continue after he went down but decided to stay down cuz he was getting outboxed.
