I dont see this as an easy win for Lewis at all.

Norton was a very good fighter, I dont see why he's getting so little respect.

i am not saying norton is bad fighter i have him in my top 20 atg heavys but lewis is not a good match up for norton. in my opinion it would be like foreman vs norton but with the difference that lewis is way more skilled then foreman. and has also better defense. so instead of a punch a time norton would be on the receiving end of various combinations.

Lewis was not Foreman though. Foreman was a reckless bully.
Foreman probably would have taken Frank Bruno out in a round or two.
But Bruno gave Lewis a tough fight.

Stop right there! The thread clearly says 'Lewis at his best'... Lewis WAS NOT at his best vs Rahman. He took the fight lightly and was playing stupid until he got clocked (which served him right in my opinion).

You must admit,Chris, that Lennox is,by far the best heavyweight to have come from this side of the pond. Him and Evander Holyfield were easily the best heavies of the 90's.

This is it. All a question of styles. Ken Norton would have done better against certain types of boxer than Lennox would have. An Ali or a Holmes would have found Lewis less of a struggle than they did Norton, yet Lennox had the physical equipment to poleaxe Ken,while Muhammad or Holmes did n't. This is one reason why we find boxing so fascinating.

Norton and his chin were far more like Bruno that like Wlad. I think Norton has a shot if he uses his very hard and fast jab to keep Lennox off him. Norton definately hits hard enough to take Lennox out. I definately favor Lennox who showed me that when focused and prepared he is an all time great.

As if Lewis isn't going to start fast vs a Norton. He completely blew the likes of Ruddock, Golota and others away after hurting them early. Rest assured Norton will be hurt early. Ko in 1 or 2 rounds.

I think it would look a lot like Lewis vs Botha: Norton trying to score off the backfoot, but hurt badly when Lewis opens up, with the end not dissimilar to said fight.

Having just watched Foreman-Norton, I'd say, yes, Lewis could finish it quick. Foreman really didn't need to do anything that Lewis wouldn't do to break Norton there.

The difference is LEnnox beat countless punchers, Norton didnt beat anyone with serious KO power
