This doesn't end well for Norton. But, over 12 rounds, he hangs in there; probably gets past the half way point but not into the championship rounds.

If you take away the overhand right, it is unlikely LL gets the Knock out.

I'm not convinced at all that Lewis never gets to land that punch.

Me either. He easily had the power and size to back Norton up and when Norton backs up he's tight and vulnerable. Lewis would have his way.

It was right hands that kicked off the rapid finish against Foreman and the Lewis right hand is one of the best in history. He also had a great right uppercut which would not go astray in this one either.

Agreed - The Lewis uppercut would be key to taking the steam out of Norton and I don't think Norton has an answer for it.

Right hands yes but not the overhand right.Ken has a has a habbit of ducking under that punch. It is hard to land that punch because of Norton's defense and posture

I'm sure a fighter of Lewis' size, reach an ability would be fine.

Norton was fine against the likes of Holmes and Ali where he was seldom forced to back up. He was hard to hit and an excellent counter puncher. When forced consistently onto the back foot his defense lost it's effectiveness, and not in a small way. Lewis would find a home for his right hand for sure.

Lewis is not the wrecking machine as Foreman or Shavers. He is a more disciplined boxer puncher type. That is why I thought this would be more of a boxing match. But who knows

This is why I wouldn't suggest it happens early but, soon enough - by round 8 or 9.

Lewis has plenty of early stoppages even in his second coming. I'd like to think he and Steward (A master tactician) would put forth an aggressive strategy aimed at getting Kenny backing up and taking an early shower.

Futch himself claims Norton gets very tight against powerful punchers and said he avoided them as opponents. Lewis has massive power. At any rate i think Lewis would finish this quickly once he stunned Kenny. Whether this came in the 1st or the 6th. Could be wrong.

I would then just see a scenario where LL would miss with the overhand right. Norton does not stand up straight up like Golota or Grant. He is not easily available for that punch.

Do not see a quick stoppage but a close fight over the distance. Foreman and Shavers whaled away. When aggressive, LL advances behind that jab and overhand right

Yes, and when backed up Norton goes to pieces. All Lewis has to do is advance and he will have Kenny struggling. I have it somewhere in print where Futch said Norton is not the same fighter against big punchers, he freezes. Honestly i would be shocked if plan wasn't to pressure him and get him out of there early.

Whilst he had good power, I don't think he has the punch for Lennox to worry about, so I imagine a Lewis going for the stoppage somewhat early, and he certainly has the arsenal of punches to finish the job.

I think it would be an ugly fight right up to the point where Lewis catches Kenny with a good right and ends the bout. Maybe something like the Bruno fight.
