Ruiz did a hell of a lot better against Parker than Tua did against Byrd. Tua had no ring IQ and wasn't prime when Lewis fought him
Bryd>Parker and it's not even close. The same bryd who made vitali quit even though vitali was basically a green fighter but still.
Ruiz had a better chin, he probably would have got angry if Lennox hit him like that. It was decent enough revenge, he embarressed Ruiz really, the man was so ashamed he immediately came out with the "I was too fat" excuse, wasnt too far from "toegate" if you ask me.
Ruiz easily beats Chris Byrd. It's been proven you need good legs to beat Ruiz which Byrd didn't have
Byrd was a flat footed fighter. Too top heavy, unnatural Heavy. He done all his best work with his back against the ropes.
I wouldn't say "at least" before what LL did. The two times Lewis lost as a pro, he immediately came back with a FURY just hellbent on destroying McCall and Rahman and he certainly held up his part of the bargain in both rematches. More than any other HW champion in recent memory, LL showed how to come back by brutal defeat -- twice, and left no doubt both times who the baddest mother effer was. The resilience, fortitude, and mental/emotional strength he exhibited in claiming his titles back, in the fashion that he did, hasnt been seen from a star HW champion in decades before or since. The way Wlad and AJ got their titles back is commendable, but they also highlight how truly special LL was and how tough a mother effer he was.
LOL Go watch other sports like seriously. Bryd ain't a flat foot fighter. He wasn't flat foot vs fighters like tua, holyfield, vitali.
Lewis didnt really destroy Mccall in the rematch did he, in fact he looked pretty terrified himself pot shottign from long range, most likely woud have won on points if Mccall didnt melt down.
He literally lay on the ropes against tua and vitali. Holy was an old man. Neither of them had any legs. I'm convinced you never saw Byrd fight
