I convinced you don't know what you're talking about. Byrd at his best was one of the best slick fighters we have ever seen. He ducks, slips and counters and when an opponent thought they get bryd trap? Bryd slips and slide away. <<<Nobody slips without footwork.
I was reffereing to someone that said he destroyed Mccall, when the reality is that Lewis probably would have taken a points win as AJ did. Rahman was a great win, I loved what he did there but lets be real, Rahman was overrated and didnt have a great chin. but taking into account the pressure Lewis was under, it was a great win. Much like the pressure Joshua was under, to win under those circumstances is impressive.
You can be all that while still being flat footed. You must never have heard of James Toney.. Go watch the Jirov fight. His feet are planted yet he's still ducking , slipping and countering. He did the same to Sam Peter over 24 rounds while he was obese. David Haye had good upper body movement but his footwork was poor. Never said Byrd had bad footwork , i said he had bad legs as in he wasn't a quick mover. Its why Ike ran through him and so would Ruiz.

Vitali only wins fights by throwing volume punches. Ruiz doesn't have a 1 ko punch. Ruiz has quicker hands than Vitali which is really the only advantage Ruiz have that's it.
Ruiz has an inside game and the inside is where he would go to work on Byrd. Vitali's inside game was non existent.
