this isnt to start **** this is based on facts, Tyson allowed his title to be stripped and Lewis got to fight a mentally ill McCall for that strap, the first title Lewis won was dug out of the trash can he didnt even have to fight for it it was given to him.
out of all the great that Lewis has acheived in his career it is a fact that Lennox only won two championships and the reason I say two is not because of the McCall win really to me that doesnt count but he did beat Holyfield to unify and Holyfield was the first HW Champion that Lewis did beat, and since then he has only won his second title from Rahman, in other words Lewis being a three time world champion is more from boxings political Bull****, However this still does not diminish what he has done in his career he has beat every man he has faced fought all the top fighters and beat them from his era and todays.
Lennox Lewis is a ATG no doubt, but hardly a true three time world champion, Holyfield has that edge over him in beating Douglas Bowe and Tyson for his titles.

Lennox was only three time champion because he lost the title twice, rather than three times as Evander did :deal

Not taking anything away, but you will have to find a better stick than that one to beat Lennox with

Notice how people call titles 'straps' when ever they want to put them down?

If he was American he would be dubbed the best since Ali or Louis, However Lewis is possibly the best heavyweight of the 90's and you can't say he went up against no hopers

Complete bull****. He was the rightful challenger to Bowe and Tyson. It's not his fault that both of those guys disregarded their duties and refused to fight him. However, you do have a point about him regaining the title by beating Rahman.

Lennox Lewis was SIMPLY THE BEST....greater than Tyson, or Holyfield, and took ALL COMERS and avenged all losses. I lost a lot of money betting against him, but the Mutherfukker always came to fight, and was the Master of Disaster inside the ring.

Why Ain't Mike Tyson Considered a 5-Time Heavyweight Champion?
(He won 5 different Championship's from 5 different Champs.)

Including the unifacation of the championship's enjoyed by the 90's. (HW's)
