    From Sport.ru...

Heavyweight great Lennox Lewis is not in favor of the July 14th showdown between Dereck Chisora and David Haye. The West Ham battle, taking place at Upton Park, is under fire from the British Boxing Board of Control. The governing organization is trying to force promoter to cancel the fight. Neither Haye or Chisora hold a license with the board, which forced Frank ****** to obtain an outside governing body to sanction the event.

Lewis like the actual fight, but doesn't believe it should happen until Chisora takes a few anger management courses. Lewis wasn't happy with Chisora's behavior back in February, where he slapped Vitali Klitschko at a weigh-in, spit water in Wladimir Klitschko's face and brawled with Haye at a post-fight press conference. Chisora's actions led the British Board to strip him of his license.

Maybe Lewis wants G$ora on them zoroloff horse-tranquilisers he had Shot Tyson on?

I'm a huge fan of Lewis, but I'm strongly opposed to his stance against this British Superfight.

Lewis always has spouted bull****. He should mind his own business and stop whoring himself for any and all attention just to feel like he still serves a purpose.

I'm a massive Lewis fan but i disagree with him here.

If the BBBoC wanted to ban Chisora fighting... they could have banned him. They chose to take his license away but stated that he could still fight if he obtained a license from another boxing control organisation. he did and now all this 'He hasn't serverd his punishment' bollocks... he has served his punishment. He no longer holds a British boxing license which was his punishment. He wasn't banned

In fairness dude he was probably asked for his opinion on the matter, so gave his opinion.
I think his opinion is wrong but all the same... no problem with him giving it if someone has asked for it

I think Lewis is having a swipe at Frank Wazza more than anything. There is no love lost between them.

With Lewis being a gentleman maybe G$ora's antics did bother him but i think these comments are more to do with Allegedly. Wazza downplayed Lewis' career whenever he could so Lennox is never gonna side with Fwank on anything.

Also Del Boy thought Vitali won Lewis, so maybe Lennox is thinking yeah i'll act like a dick about this. Or maybe it is a genuine answer regarding the anger mangement? Lewis is a clever man and i doubt he really gives a **** about a Frank ****** card or fighter.

Of course, but you always have the opportunity to be discreet in what you say if you know you're going to stir controversy. Lewis is a very smart and smarmy character - like snake, one who has always played politics in boxing to suit himself and willing to stab someone in the back.

Never does he think of anyone else and it eats away at him that he's no longer in the limelight and always feels to involve himself in big fights and offer some controversial opinion to draw attention to himself.

  7. Tbh I agree with him. The BBBOC has made a decision and they have gone behind it's back almost. I understand they didn't ban him outright but it's a loophole and a bit disrespectful. However on the other hand, I want to see the fight. So I don't give that much of a ****.
I want the fight to go on, but I can understand the BBBOC kicking up.

I can see both sides of the argument, but rules are rules, and its just bad luck for the BB that there are loopholes to be taken advantage of.

Being a Fan and predicting that their styles make for a good fight so i dont really care about the moral side of things. Boxing is boxing and thats what i want to see. What happens outside of the ring is not too important to me.

2 Guys had a brawl, its over now. Lets move and and see them fight properly.

Lewis is a ****ing *****, he was lucky Rahman didn't **** his face up while he held him down.

In a street brawl both Rahman and Tyson would have ****ed up lewis back then. Easy!

And by the way what Lewis said is in no way controversial. He is entitled to his opinion.

I think you are confusing a few things.
What do you mean "they could have banned him but instead took his license"?
They did ban him BY taking his license -- isn't that the only kind of "banning" available to them?

And it's not a matter of whether they tell him he can get licensed in another country. He just can, period. That is if that other country doesn't chose to support BBBC's decision, and it appears that Luxembourg is having doubts about granting Chisora a license after all.

  15. This exactly, i'd be gutted if it was put off but I couldn't argue it.
