Lennox showed true heart when on 2 weeks otice he finally took on the next WBC champ in Vitali. This was as far as i am concerned the last great heavyweight championship fight. H e was able to dig deep after getting beaten to the punch for the first 2.5 rounds and once he saw the cut he worked the cut into 5 cuts and over 60 stitches. If the ref had not stopped the fight Vitali wouldn't be boxing and his Brother would have been a victim of Lennox too. Lennox took his cash and like they say hindsight is 20/20. Bet you wish you had rematched eh Lennox istead of hearing these keyboard warriors and Klitpussies talk **** for 9 years.

Golota detruction was awesome. People were picking Golota to win before that fight and Lewis dismantled him in quick fashion... something Wlad can't even do to the 40 year old Mormecks of this world.

My personal favourite though is Rahman 2. Coming off the back of the worst performance of his career. Scrap before the fight etc... Then the sound those 2 punches make when they land... frightening. Also love the way Rahman lands

If it was the Tua that faced Ike, yeah, that would impress me. But Tua was fat/lazy by the time Lewis fought him.

I think Golota was impressive because it was right after the Bowe fight fiasco.

Mercer fight as well because Lewis had to dig deep.

But in the end, maybe it was the Rahman II fight since he was previously KTFO and came back to KTFO Rahman.

A good win but nothing more. Apart from stand up to Tyson, Ruddock did nothing of any real significance in his career, poor analogy in your part.

Holyfield I had he have gotten the decision and it's pretty appalling no one has mentioned this yet. The Tua fight was a real boxing masterclass from rounds 5 and onwards and obviously the demolition of Golota was impressive as well.

Probably performance wise id say Morrison, completely took him apart, perfect performance. Also Golota, Ruddock ( dont agree he wasnt a good scalp, he was and considered the favorite that night ), Grant just for utterly beating the **** out of him.
Although it was razor-close i remember being entranced by the Mercer fight, great scrap.

I think the Mercer fight when Lewis had to dig deep to pull a win out of a great fight. I reckon that was one of Mercer's best losing performances. On the list I'd say Golota for the simple fact that Golota had battered Bowe silly for two disq losses & everyone thought he would really test Lewis who basically blew him out of the water.

Best strategic performance was vs. Tua. Where did Lennox show most grit ,heart and guts in any of his fights? Obiously vs. Vitali.

I don't see how people rate the Golotha or Rahman KOs as "great performances" for Lennox. Ask yourself "How much percentage of his skill did he have to use?". Lennox needed just 30% of his skill and grit to knock out a journeyman bar brawler like Golotha. That was an easy night and far from his best performance.
