Classic. Golotta actually looked to be half decent at this time. Amazing how a few years later and he can barely move his feet and seems to telegraph his punches from his homeland. Lewis was pretty damn impeccable

Golota was a clown though.... like a rabbit in headlights in this one

He was a tad overrated due to him giving Riddick Bowe a bit of a beating before being thrown out for low blows..... Bowe was cooked by then IMO.

I really don't understand how people can compare Wladimir Klitschko to Lennox Lewis.

Jab, power and size are there only similarities,
Lewis is much more atheletic and I think faster not just handspeed
but footwork aswell, and he had better reflexes and a better chin.

Yeah lewis was definately one of the greatest for me too, and the golota KO is one of my favourites. he wasnt appreciated enough when he was active tho was he. the criticism for being boring and 'too private' haha i think the media were just pissed off cos they never caught him doing nothin they could say was wrong in some way, and why they jumped on the gay accusations so much. but he was a great champ. boxings example of 'you dont know what you got til its gone'.

Arguably Lewis's best performance. His timing and range were awesome, his movement, jab, fluidity, cute moves, power, finishing etc were all first class. It was all done against an opponent who was supposedly the best out there.

Edit: There was something about giants that sometimes got Lewis angry. He'd want to land the bombs on them - Vitali, Golota, Grant etc

It was Golota... Even an ancient Mike Tyson did a thorough job on him.
