The original post makes it sound like Lewis compared him to Botha. Which would be ridiculous. I'm glad he didn't.

Now on to your other point - I said he was a great fighter so not sure how also saying it's a shame he now comes across as bitter towards the current generation - when not shilling for PBC - is disrespectful. The fact that it is believable that he compared Usyk to Botha says it all really.

It does. It means he's said things of that ilk in the past.

llennox is hardly stupid. its one of the things he categorically isnt.

He is arguably the foremost cerebral heavyweight champion, though wlad and Bonecrusher might have something to say about that with their studies.

 

So occasionally coming across as bitter (IYO) and saying the odd thing you deem stupid = a bitter and stupid old man. I'd say that's a tad harsh. What are these comments you refer to anyway? I know there was some stuff with Joshua but nothing outrageous.

 

I think there's a threa dedicated to all of the stupid things he's said post retirement and if there isn't I'm happy to start one less anyone thinks highlighting these comments is harsh.

Perfectly natural comment from Lennox imo.Takam would have been a better gauge at heavyweight also Lewis knows what a good big guy can do to overwhelm a smaller opponent.
