There will be a giraffe and a rabbit in the ring, anything can happen in that fight. The rabbit has won many fights with his style, he will do anything to defeat his opponent. So he goes into this fight and will be looking to win. And rabbits can sometimes win - said Lennox Lewis, but he did not explain who is the rabbit and who is the giraffe in that story.

I dont get the literal downplaying of Usyk as if he is 5'10 or something. Same size as Ali and Fury only has about 4 inches on him sinde he is closer to 6'7 than 6'9. People acting like its Valuev vs Haye again

I think the comparison was more like Usyk is small(er) and fast while Fury is big and clumsy, it’s a fair comparison if you put it like that.

Dumb comparison, to be honest. But as good of a boxer Lewis was, he is completely opposite at commentating, so no surprise here

I do enjoy that the same people who would favor Ali over everyone say that Usyk is too small to handle a quality SHW. They're almost identical in dimensions. Like, if Ali had a tailored suit, it would fit Usyk perfectly. They're that close.

Actually Fury size can be his problem also. Everyone thinking of Fury advantage first take size.
But smaller man = quicker Man. Fury is used to fight with boxer who is slower or at best same speed as him.
What happend when he fight someone lot quicker than him only God knows.

Last time when he was with much quicker man he got seroius problem and that was many years ago. And then Fury was quicker (not soo fat)

Im wonder also how quick Fury can be this days. Last fights he was fat and slow. He dont have advantage over MMA muscle guy.

If he want be quick he must lost at last 10 kg. But when You losing weight You are not in best shape. You are weak, You cant train 100% hard, everything becoming harder to do.
Its interesting actually because Fury dont have much time.

If he cut lbs too hard his stamina in fight can be worse than he need to outboxing Usyk on distance.

    Very interesting thread.

It's one of the many reasons why it's such an interesting 50/50 fight.

This sounds like an underestimation of Usyk to me.
Rather, I would say that it is a fight between a giraffe and a zebra, with Usyk not hitting as hard as a zebra.
Someone else might come up with a better "giraffe vs. zebra" comparison than mine. I don't understand animals that much.
But my comparison (giraffe vs. zebra) is better than Lennox Lewis's comparison (giraffe vs. rabbit).

It's more like a fight between a big flabby octopus vs a larger than average meerkat wearing a Cossack topknot.
