Usyk was a weight drained heavyweight. He was never a natural cruiserweight.

 

Yeah, most cruiserweights these days are more like weight drained old school HWs. Their natural weight generally hovers around 210-215. Sometimes as high as 220, which is by no means a blown up anything.

Adamek was a blown up CW. He's about the only prominent example I can think of, and he started off as a weight drained LHW.

 

Yeah, a better comparison would be the honey badger against a lion. Although much smaller, the badger can use its speed and agility to attack the lions nuts, ripping them to shreds in an instant. Lion, for whatever reason, doesn't seem to eager to fight after that. I am in no way suggesting that Usyk foul Fury. LOL

In my experience the exact same people who say they favour Ali over every other boxer also favour Usyk over every other boxer.

I don't need to spell out the obvious reason why.

 

Lewis has always been a bit pompous, but now he's going full dick mode. Usyk is bigger than Holy and Tyson and a damn sight nearer his prime. So this is pretty rich from the guy who feasted on their remains (well, more like safety first in the case of Holy, who wasn't far from creaking when he moved by that stage) and ducked Byrd, who is inferior to Usyk in every single department.

 

I am of the opinion that Usyk gives any heavy in history a tough go.
