    :think:huh:huh:huh

    No they weren't.

Rahman was an above average puncher, as was McCall.

Rahman's best win by KO, other than Lewis was KOing a gassed Corrie Sanders in 8. And Rahman never KO'd any decent fighter unless they were gassed. :rofl And if they didnt gas, he'd end up KOd himself!:deal

McCall's best KO win, aside from Lewis, was doing the same, KOing a gassed, Hepatitus B having, Henry Akinwande in 10. Also KO'd a formidable, but also exhausted Francesco Damiani.

Rahman was able to KO cabbies, clubbies, and journeymen.

McCall was able to KO anyone seriously chinny, ie Seldon and Maskaev, but if they had ANY chin whatsoever, they lasted until they gassed due to McCall's iron holding out. :deal

Lights out......ie Liakovich vs Wilder, Maskaev vs Aguilera, Rahman vs Maskaev, Harrison vs Price.

Bute......just added him to the NON GLASS list that Magic loves to consider pure grade A chin.:thumbsup

Getting rocked by the likes of Tua and Vitali is nothing to be ashamed of as most guys would have hit the deck.

Yeah, barring the Holyfield KD which was a shot to the chest, you really had to beat Tyson down to put him on the canvas.

Lewis was hitting Tyson with brutal shots in that 7th round and he stayed on his feet.

Sometimes chins are difficult to compare when you take into account how much punishment the guy is taking, the guy's defense, how the fighter reacts to being hit hard, etc.... Hector Camacho never got stopped, but he often went into a defensive shell when he got hit hard. Margarito was stopped by Mosley, but he was hit with like a million shots to the face, plus he took a hammering to the body.

I remember people saying how that fight showed Margarito's punch resistance had faded. :huh Did people see how many flush shots he took from Mosley, who loaded up on a lot of them, before Margarito finally went down??

Lewis had a weak chin, there's no debating possible.

He was knoccked down in the amateurs with headgear on, and the way he was stopped by Mc Call is absolutely ridicle.
In the ****ing second round, without having taken damage, he got his legs jellifyed by two slaps and nothing else.

And the Rahman knock out? Those two have never won anything significant, and never showed one punch knockout power the way they did against Lummox.

Also those weren't the only occasions in which he showed his weakness. He was hurt basically every time someone landed someone consistent on him.

Bruno had him totally out of his legs and ready to go, but as the no hearted and weak minded he was, he couldn't let his hands go for the finish.
Probably because he packed glass too.

Lennox looked hurt in half of his fights, if he didn't avoid all of the southpaws of his eras and various other good fighters he would have been knoccked out more.

No ones claiming it was iron? Is there nothing in between glass and iron in your opinion Rico?

Lewis chin was average, nothing more nothing less. He made up for it by being very good in other departments.

On a scale of 1-10 Lewis was about a 7. If he had been maybe an 8 or 9, he would have gone undefeated. Anyone who makes it to the top has to have at least be a 6 in the chin department otherwise barring a hell of a defense, you'd get KO'd somewhere down the line. One thing to consider is yes he was KO'd twice, but he wasn't down very many times. Foreman was down more times in one fight against Lyle than Lewis was in his entire career, same goes with Tyson.

he was nearly kod by a much smaller holyfield and was also nearly put away by shannon briggs. seems like whenever he got hit solid he was a punch away from sleeping
