    Not intentionally, but with instant replay it would have been easy TD for Vitali.

    Lewis didn't run from Vitali. He just walked away very, very, very, very, very fast...

    When LEWIS wins against Vitali and doesnt rematch him he ducked and **** but when Wlad doesnt revenge his losses against journeyman Puritty and Sanders thats cool:patsch I like Klitschko fans logic.

    I would say Lewis timed his retirement perfectly. He beat up the next big HW and left no doubts that he was the best in his time and no one in the era that followed would have stood up to him in his prime.

    Rahman KO5 Lewis.
    Wladimir TKO7 Rahman.

    Lewis SD Ray Mercer.
    Wladimir TKO7 Mercer.

    Lewis TKO9 Phil Jackson
    Wladimir KO2 Phil Jackson.

    As anybody can see Lewis had no future in boxing and he knew it, even if his fans didnt.

    So you think it would be smarter for him to keep going until an inferior boxer like Vitali beat him.

    Like Ali vs. Berbick?

    The smart ones get out on top...just like Lewis did, beating the next best boxer out there.

    The fighter does not always get to choose whether or not he gets to continue.. Lot's of bouts have been stopped by either the doctor or referee's authority, leaving the loser to cry sour grapes over it..... It happens. How well would Vitali have done had the fight continued? we'll never know.. He might have knocked Lewis out in the very next round, and then again, he might have ended up permanantly blind in that eye. Lewis won the fight, and since he opted to retire, it should be left at that..... It wasn't as though he continued to hold on to the title while cherry picking easy paydays, and denying Vitali the rematch... He was finished.... Leave it be..

    :lol: You are either:
    A) Very ****in stupid if you believe this garbage means anything;
    B) Just a pointless troll, and therefore, a useless piece of ****.

    Probably a little of both huh?:thumbsup
