Lennox Lewis was honored as a living boxing legend at the Friars Club Friday night, where he also celebrated his 50th birthday in front of guests including , whom he knocked out in 2002.
While Lewis said he wasn’t worried Tyson might bite him — after the Brooklyn fighter infamously chomped on — he had a different concern.
“People would ask me all the time if I was ever afraid to fight Mike Tyson, but I was never afraid of him biting me,” Lewis told The Post’s Tashara Jones.
“But I was afraid that he would pull my hair — I had long dreadlocks,” he explained.
Lennox kept the dreads after he cut them off following the fight.

Though Lewis retired in 2004, these days, “Whenever I go out I am always mindful of getting into altercations because my hands are legal weapons,” he warned.
