That was bull**** too when after he beat Holyfield twice, he was stripped by the WBA for fighting Michael Grant instead of John Ruiz. Grant was undefeated at the time and the more deserving challenger, but the WBA stripped him and then we got the ridiculous Ruiz vs Holyfield trilogy.
I think SHOWTIME is just pissed at him because Lennox was an HBO fighter. The only time I remember him having anything to do with SHOWTIME was for the Tyson fight, where it was a joint production by both HBO and SHOWTIME.
