Lennox Lewis got booed

in conclusion lewis will always be remembered for not giving vitali, and fight fans, a rematch. he totally lamed out on that. the burning question is why, and I believe the answer was a very high degree of uncertainty. vitali took flush bombs from lewis and didn't get hurt. that shocked lewis into retirement.

 

Hey man I know your still a little sour and butt hurt about Lewis beating your guys face half off. But to say he will always be rememered for not giving Vitali a rematch is BS. Yes, he will forever be remembered as that by you.
but you are in a minority of Klit dik suckers tbh.

To everyone else he will be remembered as a top 10 ATG beast with no unavenged defeats, former undisoputed champ and the guy who almost blinded Vitali.

Vitaly put up a valiant effort but lost. If you want to know why Lennox retired, it was because he was 38, rich, secured in his legacy of having beaten every man he ever fought, and expecting a baby with his lady Violet Chang.

Vitaly is a great fighter in my book, but Lewis is one of the very best. We all would have loved to see a rematch, and if he had gone on to fight others, I would be inclined to agree. But as it were, Lewis did retirement like he did everything else- with class. We see so many fighters wreck themselves fighting on long past it- Lewis retired on the right note to become a championship father.
