Lennox Lewis' greatest gift to us

Lewis fans are just as delusional and there are a lot more of them. As you can see if you were to make a poll of Lewis vs either Klitschko prime for prime. The word fan is short for fanatic it is imposible to be a fanatic and not delusional.

 

A poll would just show that Lewis would smash either brother in a prime for prime matchup. Which is true.

Doesn't mean there are more fanatics.

just people basing their opinion on a fight that actually happened between a past prime Lewis and an almost prime Vitaly. the one occassion somebody has competed on an almost even physical footing, Vitaly got his face torn off.

Lewis has fought a few guys bigger than himself, and beat them all.

Vitaly has fought one about his size, and got stopped at the halfway point. and it's universally recognised he's the tougher brother.

Talking about this subject only turns out nasty.

Lennox got surprised by the unexpected formidable foe that was Vitali, he had to dig deep and find a way to win and did. He dug down and showed why he was a champion for so long.

At 38 he retired knowing the fire wasn't there no more. Vitali became his successor.

That's it Samita move on with your life.

Good God, this again. It was a great fight! All action, blood and guts, for six rounds! Neither man deserves ANY criticism for this fight. This was a mini-Manila. I think a trilogy was needed to determine the better man, but it wasn't in the cards. Lennox had one foot out the door already...he didn't want to go back in.

Don't criticize either guy for such an amazing brawl.

 

Love Lennox but Vitali would have killed him if the fight goes on. Thank Vitali's skin for getting cut.

That's a pretty weird comment. last I recall your skin is part of your body and if it can't hold up to punches it's one hell of a liability.

Interesting note is the Vitali doesn't appear to be cut prone, yet against Lewis he received at least 4 cuts, some horrific, so obviously there's something in Lewis' punches, perhaps power, that Vitali's skin can't handle very well.

 

Lewis is a great slasher but Vitali is definetly a bleeder...One of the 2 or 3 jabs Kingpin landed gave him a nasty cut over the right eye.
