Has anyone heard off Lennox Lewis lately? His weekly Joshua bashing seems to have taken a steep decline since his boy Wilder turned down the $100 million dollar deal for the DAZN bouts. It's a shame I would have really enjoyed listening to him try to defend Deontay over his continued "body on his record" comments that have been under scrutiny this week. Lennox really needs to step off his soapbox and engage his brain before speaking as a "boxing expert"
Show some respect. Lennox Lewis is a ATG, and he specially trained Deontay to throw the sharp jab, in order to set up those wild windmill punches.
I assume he's realised he was wrong after Wilder turned down the DAZN deal. It's a shame his affiliation with PBC has coloured his opinion on things.
I think he's also a tad threatened by AJ's career path and popularity among UK sport fans and is quite happy to take the chance to talk down Joshua when given the chance. It's a backhanded compliment, really....
I hate people who can't comprehend a rhetorical question or who have no clear understanding of irony or sarcasm.
Some people just like to tease every now and then in a friendly manner. I actually thought the topic was interesting, personally.
