Lennox would had hands full even one of them..olympic gold metallist and olympic silver medallist. Some of you overrated Lewis badly
Lennox Lewis would always knockout Wladimir. Not much difference in size, and Lennox was the better boxer.
I never liked Lennox Lewis, and usually rooted against him, but anyone who denies him a top spot amongst all-time heavyweights is a hater. He was truly a sensational boxer/puncher who took on all comers and is one of the few champions in the history of the sport who can say he defeated every man he ever faced. Even though I will never forgive him for beating the **** out of Golota, I call it like I see it--Lewis was great, and personally, I rank him #7 all-time amongst heavyweight greats. :smoke
Better boxer? Do you really chose Lewis win to fight if you cant KO your opponent? I dont think so. Lewis would lose by points. Lewis only chance is KO.
Wladimir is the most vunerable heavyweight since Herbie Hide. Lewis would hit that chin flush in a 12 round fight, and Wladimir would be on ***** street.
Lewis was great for the sport, a great champion. we will be lucky to see a heavyweight of his caliber in the near future..
Lewis was a great fighter, top 10 ATG, but not as great as some here make him out to be. He never beat a great in his prime, and his matches with Mercer and Holyfield the second time, could of gone either way.
Don't forget he is also the ONLY top level HW champ to get taken out TWICE in the early rounds by ordinary contenders while he held the title. The ONLY one. :nod
I'm not a huge fan of Lewis and give him 100% credit, the man fought everyone out there and even beat the "new generation" in Vitali before taking off.
