Lewis would have a decent chance to beat 70's Ali but would lose to prime Ali of the 60's.

Lewis would do very well against everyone else but he would not go through that era undefeated. It was another era of big punchers just like his era and it would be very possible he would have some KO losses which he would probably avenge.

Fraizer was tailor made for him, short, weak right hand, no jab, prone to punchers and susceptible to the uppercut.

Foreman would be a very hard fight, big bombs thrown from both men, Foreman very dangerous early applying the kind of pressure that could KO Lewis. But if he can survive beyond 6 rounds he has a good chance of stopping a waning Foreman. Hard fight to pick a winner, I always flip flop between who will win a hypothetical fight between these to greats. But I'll pick Lewis on this occasion, and even if he loses he wins the rematch.

Norton would be awkward but Lewis overcomes a tricky opponent and his power maybe the decider and gets him the stoppage.

Shavers would be very dangerous he could easily KO a young Lewis but an older Lewis dismantles Shaver in similar fashion as he did the likes of Golota and Rudduck.

I would make Lewis equal odds or marginally favourite against Foreman.A favourite against Frazier .

IMO he would be second best against Holmes and Liston. At least the peak versions.Lewis was never that great against fighters with a solid jab like Mercer or Bruno.

No way would he be as dominant. Too many good contenders and great fighters for Lewis to really be "the man". But I still think he would be top 5.

If Lewis were to fight everyone (which is unrealisitic), he would get beat a few times. After all, he would have to fight these guys.

    Ken Norton
    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Frazier
    George Foreman
    Larry Holmes
    Jerry Quarry
    Roy Williams
    Jimmy Young
    Earnie Shavers
    Ron Lyle
    Joe Bugner
    Oscar Bonavena
    Ernie Terrelll
    Etc.

He would get beat by Holmes, Ali, Frazier, and Foreman for sure. The other guys would have their chance too

Lewis beats everyone, except a 66 Ali, he would beat the 70s Ali on close decision, Fraizer by points, Foreman by Points, Holmes on a close but clear Decision

Ali has a chance of beating Lewis. Only by way of decision, but it would be the fight of his life

Foreman to small not smart enough
    Frazier gets KOd
Holmes gets UD/KOd. he just a smaller tunned down version of Lennox.

Lennox could be champion in any era

Jab, skills, combination punching, chin, speed, heart, movement, footwork almost everything. Only true intangible Lewis has on Holmes is power and size. Everything else goes to Holmes and rightfully so. he was better.

Lewis and Foreman are essentially the same size. I think Foreman KOs him and so does Liston.

These are very similar, how can you say Lewis had less heart, only true difference is power-Lewis

I think Holmes would beat Lewis. His jab is much better than Lennox's which was a little inconsistent and certainly not as stiff as Larry's. Holmes also had a good chin and strong powers of recuperation so even if Lennox caught him with an overhand right, straight right, or uppercut, I think Larry would survive. I just think over the course of 12 rounds Larry would be more active, use his movement, and stiff jab to rack up more points. Lennox liked to call himself the pugilist specialist, but Holmes was in fact better at that game. I like Lewis and rate him highly, but I think Larry Holmes is better H2H and in an ATG list.
