so the fact both tyson and bowe blatantly ducked lewis - by putting their belts in the trash, that tyson only agreed to fight lewis when he had nothing else left and needed the money, that holyfield needed the biggest bull**** judging since rjj/korean dude to simply get a draw? lewis was THE champ, yes, he got starched - neither mccall or rahman were second raters - they dont rate alongside the top 20 ATG, but not many do. they were good fighters who are still fringe contenders today... at the end of the day, lewis beat every many who he faced, and didnt really get any/many lucky decisions that he didnt deserve. and for someone with such a bad chin, the great VK, who was the best version of himself in that fight, couldnt starch the worst ever version of LL... says alot doesn't it...
VK was just plain rude not getting KTFO by that uppercut in the 6th, he had no right to remain standing
:rofl :rofl :rofl Unbelieaveble how he took that punch, i dont think he could of shipped much more that night he was done, good call on the stoppage :deal
It helps when you fall into your oponent and lean on him. :yep Lennox was the only thing keeping Vitali upright at several points in that fight.
The only thing worse is a puppy murderer. ****, I'd go camping with a serial killer before a center-right hack.
Thanks for joining! It's great to have another fan on board. Oh, what's that? you were being facetious? I don't believe anyone is forcing you to be here. Feel free to leave any time. Close the door on your way out, chief. :hi:
atsch The dumbest post i must have read this entire year. Yeah, Lewis is a three time linear (not alphabet) champion, beat more punchers than anyone including Ali and Louis, beat every man put in front of him, both Bowe and Tyson dropped their belts in order to avoid having to fight Lewis, he took all the high/low profit fights (Ruddock, Mason, Golota, Grant, Mavrovic, Klitschko), was never troubled stylistically unlike Ali (Norton, Young), Louis (Conn, movers), Foreman (Young, boxers), Frazier (Foreman, punchers) and just about every other heavyweight in the history of the sport... Bottomline, the only way Lewis is forgotten 10-20 years from now, is if a nuclear war breaks out and humanity has to go back to inventing the wheel.:deal
Indeed. If you DARE question Lewis's deficiencies, the usual suspects come out with their tired old excuses, drawn directly from Lewis camp propaganda: he didn't fight the greats of his era because they "ducked" him; he only got starched because he wasn't 100 percent, etc. etc. Being a Lewis fan seems to mean you never run out of excuses...... Deep in their hearts, I suspect they know Holyfield was the greater fighter!:yep
Zakman if anyone is overrated its Holyfield with his tota of 7 defences over 3 reigns as champion with one of those being the "draw" with Lewis proves he wasnt all that great.
