So he's willing to call Lennox the greatest of all time for beating a completely faded Mike Tyson. So what? George is known to say crazy things.

I dont know why George is always on Lewis' dick. I remember when George said he would come out of retirement to fight Vitali if he beat Lennox, but he didnt want to fight Lennox.

it's hard to find any reason why lewis should be considered the best, i would favor him head-to-head against most previous champs (except maybe holmes), but i can't think of anything he accomplished during his career that a previous champ had done better.

I still have alot of respect for big george, even though he says some pretty wacky **** sometimes. He probably would say Tito Trinidad is the greatest welter of all time as well.

Certainly not the best ever, though difinitely in the top ten. Styles make fights, don't forget that Ray Mercer and Holyfield gave Lennox his toughest fights.
"Oliver McCall, give him credit for knocking out Lewis, he may be unstable, but tough. Rahman, another tough fighter who knocked Lewis out, though neither fighters are going to be inducted into the BHOF."

A prime Riddick Bowe, Larry Holmes, Ali and Joe Frazier would defeat prime Lewis on most day's.

I agree. He's one of the only Heavyweights in history to best every man he's ever face - whether head up or in a rematch. Not many fighters can ever say they did that.

He's by far one of the best - but he's not the greatest.

Joe Louis :good Rocky Marciano would be battered by Lewis, he's just too small.
